1. Rather than seek to numb the pain with addictive behaviour, you need to live with it an make friends with your brokenness. We can't expect to be perfect. Change does not usually happen instantaneously. There may be failures, but you when you know your brokenness it is no longer your hidden enemy. Rather, by God's grace, it can become the very means of your redemption.
